Recipe – Turmeric Hot Chocolate
Here is a healthy hot chocolate full of superfoods needed to give you a little extra boost. Unsweetened dark cacao, cinnamon and turmeric combined with a tiny pinch of black pepper (to help the body absorb the turmeric). A creamy hot chocolate that will make you feel nice and warm.

3 cups milk of choice, (we use unsweetened almond milk)
4 tbsp unsweetened raw cacao powder
4 tsp pure maple syrup (perfect for all Ayurvedic dosha types)
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tsp ground turmeric
pinch of black pepper
Whisk all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to simmer. Continue whisking for 3 minutes until everything is smooth and incorporated.
Remove from heat and drink immediately. Enjoy your turmeric hot chocolate!
Optional Froth: Place the smooth hot mixture into a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until you get a nice froth on top.
